Question new 750i or wait for e60 m5 poll

well, it may be time for a new sedan but nothing really jumps out at me. i have a 2001 540i sport and it has been a great car. i do not really like mb cars that much - just like the bmws better. so, i was looking at a nice luxury car to go with the porsche.

i also have put a few other choices so let me know some of your experiences. TIA

If you have a 996TT, the 545i or 750i would suit you real well. I'd pick the M5 only if I live in a town called Nurburg. =P

all depends on what sort of driving you want to be doing. if you want a more relaxing, comfy ride the 750il or the merc would suit you jsut fine.

if you want a sportier ride the maserati or the m5 will suit you fine (never been in an m5 but would imagine it would easily be liveable, especially seen as how you had a 540 sport and they arnt the softest riding sedans imo.) m5 would be a great car, yet so would the maser. all depends on styling i geuss. been for a drive in a maser and to me it was very comfortable and luxurious.

I nominate the Audi A8. One of the best and most competent four door sedans out there, with a fit and finish that's second to none.

good to hear from another KIWI.

thanks for the tips. i really think the 540 is very smooth and has a great ride so i guess a flotilla would not be for me. really like the new 750. just saw one yesterday in the flesh and the car looks way better than the 745 imo. really like the sport sedan alot so either way i think it makes sense.

anyone know when the m5 will be released. all i hear is late 2005
