Traded in my Rrss for a F10 M5
Traded in my Rrss for a F10 M5
So I made the decision after hitting 85k mi, to trade in my beloved white '11 Range Rover Sport Supercharged..I bought it new 4 years ago and it was a great car.
I wanted to step it up in all aspects for an ultimate daily driver, so I went for a F10 M5. It is a triple black 2013 with the 6 speed manual, and I absolutely love it.
here are a few pictures..

Agreed, but I figured I would get the most money out of the Range before hitting 100k mi-so I let her go.
And the manual is just amazing. It is so smooth and easy for daily driving, especially when in Econ mode it will rev-match your downshifts automatically.

Congrats on the new M5! Great car. Nice choice on the transmission too!
So, tell us, honestly, what was it like living with the RR for those years? Have they gotten better as far as reliability and issues? A friend of mine had a Disco for many years with no issues, but others seem to have constant problems. It's that reputation that has always kept me away from a RR.

Thank you!
My Rrss was a great car. From the day I owned it until I traded it in, it only had one issue to fix (replaced the front right suspension airbag at 75k mi for 500$). Other than that it was a comfortable, fast and reliable car that I truly enjoyed. The gas mileage is not very good if you drive it hard, and it ate up brakes/tires about every 30k, but I really enjoyed owning it and would recommend an '11+ Rrss to anyone.
