So... Modded 335 or M3?

Turbo power is forever upgradeable... but 8400 RPM is very appealing.

Two totally different cars in terms of engine and how it will meant to be used...if straight line is one's game than they shouldn't bother with an M car.

go for the e46 m3. although, the 335i's i saw and heard today were nice (you need a new front bumper) and they sounded good too.

I would get an E92 M3. If the 335 is proven to surpass the performance of the M in the future, then I would maybe consider the 335. An M is an M: suspension/chasis tuning is better, etc. The other school of thought would be to get a 335 while the M3 bugs are ironed out. I would get an M3 but only when the new double clutch transmission becomes available ~ March 08.

I am rocking am 2005 triple black M3 Vert with a 6speed right now and not that impressed with it. I am sure the new 335 is gonna be alot better car and faster. Plus being able to bump up the tune and boost will be Very Nice, High Five.

335 coupe if you're going to mod it, it will be a much better platform to mod than the e46 or e92 m3

335! Lighter, faster (post-mods), much more moddable and available without the markups that will not doubt be applied to the M3.

335i for now...and then M3 about a year or two into production. This is exactly what I'm doing. My deposit on the M3 is staying with my dealer for when I'm done with the 335. And there won't be any markups either!

You should drive a comp. coupe ZCP, totally different cars from the verts...

Just drove my friends new E46 M3 and realized how much i miss the damn car, drove the 335 too, while im impressed i'll take the M3 any day over it, but that is me, especially when i have my GT2 for boost needs, i also love the high revving NA!!

E46 M3? Actually it does not matter. I would take an M current or future over the 335.
