Stop the presses! The new ///M is closer then you think!
Yep, September for Euro delivery and late March/ early April for USA
But it is a bit of a piggy, 16XX is the weight on the dataplate! But at least they took the weight off of the top of the car
Did I forget to post those pictures of the red one @ NurburgRing this past weekend? They are no different from what you see. I couldn't find the owner to ask him (or her) to place it near the NurburgRing signage!

agreed, dont mind the look...but e46 M will definitely be a classic. Wonder how much you'll feel the extra weight on this thing, regardless of how much power it has.

e92 m3-$70K or e46 m3-$40K
tough decison

had the e92 gotten the V10... well then it wouldve been a stellar performer but early reviews show very little improvment and its sad to see that a chipped 335 will keep up, if not beat the v8 and get better gas mileage along the way...
V8 with turbos... wouldve been something, or a supercharger or just the v10, wouldve been great choices'
now i know that M3 isnt about straight line speed, but there isnt anything wrong with it either, and when the e46 m3 came out it was one of the faster cars on the road, faster then a C5 vette in a straight line and a 996 911 C2 and C4S... now all the new iterations of those cars will be faster in a straight line, and most likely on the twisties too, not to mention the C63 sounds like a stellar car with will directly compete with the M3 and if i didnt have a soft spot for BMW's still, it would be my choice above an M3... prolly already is from what ive been reading

what the hell is the purpose of all these new age CF etc when it doesnt make the overall car lighter and better? its really is strange to see a day when there are very few car makers who are willing to stick to their orig. objective. the M division has never been about satisfying EVERYONE, at least not until today.
