Any Advice

A QUESTION FOR THE PORSCHE EXPERTS,

ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCES WITH THEIR BOXSTERS REPLACEING THE TRUNK RELEASE CABLE, AND DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY RECOMENDATIONS ON HOW AND WHERE TO DO IT IN LOS ANGELES.

ALSO, ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY TRUNK LINING FOR A 2000 BOXSTER FOR CHEAP.

THANKS

PS. IF YOU GUYS ARE WONDERING WHY I AM ASKING IT BECAUSE I HAD A SMALL FIRE IN MY TRUNK DUE TO A PIECE OF s***T B&B EXHAUST

You are the third person i have either read or heard about with a Boxster and B&B. Is this a coincidence?

Too bad you didn't call me about 3 months ago- i threw every bit of the carpet from a 99 boxster that i bought (wrecked for parts) away. I may be able to find something for you. Otherwise you could go to a high end upholstry shop and have them get you the oe kit or german pile and custom fit.
As for the cable, i can't send you the procedure electronically but can print and mail the factory procedure if you want to do it your self. Seth.

Write me your address and i'll send you the info- the factory prcedure is basically just a diagram of the car and written procedure for replacement- not particularly detailed for someone not intimately familliar with the cars but you may be able to do it. Worth a try. I'll see if any of my standard contacts have the carpet stuff and let you know. Seth.

I have heard of at least 2 NSX's with the same B&B trunk combustion problem.

Hay thanks for the input guys. Unfortunately, the lights that illuminate the gauge faces are out as well as the lights that illuminate the buttons on the heater. What do you think the problem might be?

Oh ya and in regards to the "ttwanksta"... DID YOU SAY THE ONLY EXPERIENCE YOU HAD WITH A PORSCHE WAS BEING FIRST IN LINE! LET ME GIVE YOU SOME ADVISE, ITS NOT TOO HARD TO CUT THE LINE, JUST ASK OKHJOON190! GET BACK TO ME WHEN YOU GET THE CAR FOR YOURSELF!

Thanks
