Interior thread

When it comes time for me to replace my S2000 the Boxster S is on the short list and looking at the Porsche website there are a few seat/leather/wood/carbon/aluminum options. The sport seats seem like a good deal, but from what I've seen they are fairly uncommon, is there any reason for this? The full leather interior seems like a large expense, is it worth it? I'm not a big wood/aluminum/carbon guy, but post some pics if you have it, you just may change my mind! In fact post any good interior pics you have, I want to weigh all my options.

I am admittedly a dash stroker, the interior of the car is as important, if not more important then the exterior.

I would never buy a Porsche w/o sport seats and full leather...just my opinion.

I have leather sport seats and am very pleased with them. I did not get a leather interior and don't really miss it compared to the price for one.

While I wouldn't consider it a "must have" mod....the full leather interior really makes the car feel like a million bucks. Sport seats however, IMO, are a must. I opted not to get carbon, wood, or aluminum trim and instead went with body color matched seat backs, gauges, and lower center console.

The two rides sitting pretty:

IMO, full leather changes the entire feel of the car. Well worth it.

Love your white accents as well! Gorgeous Cayman!

How do you like the alcantara steering wheel / shift ****? Is it worth it?
I'm about to buy them both. Let me know.

I'm certainly not opposed to getting it, it just seems looking at used boxster's they upgraded seats and leather are rare options. I plan on going new when the time comes and don't want to purchase options(in particular the full leather) if they'll have little benefit in resale and most don't feel provide the original owner with enough "value."

Here's my 2001 interior with full leather and Alcantara done locally. Definitely worth it for me.

I am digging your interior, the red stitching really pops. I am going to guess that it was a pretty penny to have the interior redone like that.
