Could someone please run this vin?

Hi,
i was looking at this car, could someone please run this vin and let me know the options, i know it has about 22000 miles...thats my main concern...for a sports car is that not considered relatively high mileage..
most used porsches i have been looking at have had less than 10000miles - i have never bought a used car, so that could help explain my paranoia.
anyways, i somone could please run this vin, i would appreciate it.
thanks
2007 PORSCHE CAYMAN S
WP0AB29827U780265

also, obviously depending on the options, what is a fair price.
thanks
would you advocate waiting a bit longer to purchase or is now the time.
thanks

Firstly the mileage; OK this is a 2007 but this could mean it was registered as early as September 2006. So over two years 22000 miles makes this quite normal. Run the VIN through Carfax.

OK the options:

680 - BOSE
672 - PCM Navigation
640 - Sports Chrono Plus
601 - Bi-Xenon Headlights
482 - TPMS
480 - 6 Speed Manual
446 - Porsche colored center caps
403 - 19" Carrera S Wheels
288 - Headlight Washers
342 - Seat Heaters

I have not listed the stardard features for a US 'S' model but these include cruise control, homelink etc

It does not have full leather nor does it have sport seats and it have manual A/C

hi, thanks for the help.
you are indeed right, carfax says the car was in 2006, however, it was first leased in 07.
my question about the mileage was whether it was too high...ie look for a lower mileage one.

regarding the options....thanks a lot
however, is it possible, that your posted list is missing some options?
ie, in the pic of the car i have, the center stack clearly says auto under the ac controls....
also, the rims are painted blue, i dont know if this would be in the options list or not.

also, is psm standard equipment on american porsches...as i know in canada it is an option.
also, based on the options list etc, what do you think its worth in this current state>

thanks again.

It justs list A/C and your photo indicates this as with AUTO so that's a plus. Manual or Auto is now available for the US.

PSM is standard on US cars.

You will have to look at the rims as this option is not listed. If they are from the factory the rims will not be painted on the inside if they have been done afterwards then typically the inside will be.

The mileage is OK personally I rather have a car that has been driven than a garage queen. If it has been serviced by a dealer it will be good.

hi nick
thanks again, isnt it weird about the ac, that it wasnt listed?
anyways, i found another very similar vehicle, if once again, you wouldn't mind running this vin it would be appreciated; main difference is it lacks sport chrono plus package.
but has everything else, 20k miles again, but looks good.

WP0AB29857U781443
thanks again.
also, any ideas on a reasonable offer, i have a ball park in my head, but im a canadian, so different markets.
thanks

No idea on Canadian prices sorry.

But the other vin;

288 - Headlight washers
342 - Seat heating
401 - 18" Cayman S Wheels
446 - Center Caps colored with Porsche crest
482 - TPMS
572 - Manual A/C (Definately not Auto)
601 - Bi-Xenon Lights
670 - PCM Navigation
680 - BOSE

Has standard seats plus the other standard equipment PSM, Cruise, Homelink etc as for the US market

h nick
thanks again, much appreciated.
quick question, how come the pcm codes are different ie
672 - PCM Navigation in the first car
670 - PCM Navigation in the 2nd

also, i know the second car has black rims from the factory.
out of the two builds is one noticeably better, or truly worth more.
thanks again

672 has extended navigation ie off road and 670 does not.

I cannot see the colored rims as these are 'exclusive' options and the decoder does not display these.

Personally I would go with the first car as it has Sports Chrono which gives you better throttle response when selected
