If you truly want one you better hurry... Allocations are pretty slim. I'm getting my dealers first car (March build/May delivery). My dealer has sold there entire allocation already and I'm in Oregon! I can only imagine the demand in California.

 

my "dealer" said "we wont know til' mid january about build time or allocation"
How could that be when they are due out in march!!

Your dealer is either clueless or has already sold their allocation which was sent out December 11th. Most dealers were allocated only three cars. Here is my build:

ya the dealer may be in left field!! they couldnt get a gt3 for me either (997) but now have 2010 sitting on the showroom, for two months....

No, I heard Porsche is doing away with physical order guides of the past (pdfs). Instead they are using the dealer online system, which is just a more detailed version on the configurator on porsche.com.
