Wrapped my wing
Got tired of my faded boxster wing so I picked up cayman wing and ordered some cf wrap. First time doing wrap myself. Getting all the bubbles out was not an easy task.

having an extra set of hands makes it a lot easier. a heat gun is a must. low setting on my heat gun was more than enough. lay all the wrap and cut after its all applied and tucked would be my advice. the corners took probably 1/3 of the time of the whole application. I would work with heat on the whole thing whereas I only used heat when I got to the corners and the edges. CF wrap was bought on ebay from a vendor in the USA as I didnt want to wait weeks for it to come from asia. I ll post pics once I have it on the car

looks good... looks like that di-noc product. I have some of it on parts in my interior. I heard that it doesn't hold up well to UV, and there is a better "external grade" product... sorry, I can't remember the name. let us know how it holds up. I am interested in doing the same thing. thx

I don't have any pics but my daughter and I wrapped my wing last year. She (14) did most the work. I was concerned how it would hold up in the weather...so far it's been fine..even with snow! Heat gun is a must...good sharp cutting instrument and a steady hand. Go slow.
