Sand Beige Interior

Was wondering what posters thought about a sand beige interior? I have never had a vehicle with that, usually had gray, black, charcoal, etc. About my only option for a new Cayman is Aqua Blue with sand beige. Its not my 1st choice, but after looking at some pics it might be fine.

What do you guys think of sand beige? are most people satisfied with it or wish they would have gotten another color?

Mike

Great color. Prefer it! Had it in Panamera and added black floor mats. Perfect!

A lot of dash reflection into the windshield. I would prefer the black dash.

That's an odd one. For being performance-oriented Porsche sure makes some dumb moves. I personally love a tan interior and have owned many vehicles with tan interiors. Some Honda's and Toyota's I've owned actually had a split finish where the top of the dash and door panels are black... probably to prevent reflection off the windshield. And they don't even charge extra for the feature

i LOVE my sand beige interior and I'm really not a fan of beige interior but when I saw it in my car I had to have it. Heed everyones advice here about keeping it clean. Much more work to keep clean, I have to shampoo the mats and carpet at least twice as often to keep it looking nice. Also, if you do DE days, bring some leather cleaner with you as the steering wheel and shift **** get dirty easily as well. If you don't mind staying on top of it, you won't have any regrets.

I have that interior in my 2011 Boxster and love it. I took out the carpet and use the all weather rubber mats. Never had any reflection troubles from the dash.

I love the sand beige color in my Boxster and it is definitely cooler than black or grey.

Yes, I bought the black floor mats from Porsche for $125, and they really make the interior look awesome.

That said, it does have the drawback of windshield reflection.

However, any Boxster sitting outside (unless there's snow on the ground) is pretty friggin hot until you crank up the air and/or take the top down.

I love driving my Boxster, even with my wife in the car.
