PASM or not?

Short version: friend looking at 2007 or so Cayman S and would like to know "value" of PASM. That is, if the car is a street car and driven moderate to hard, is it necessary or not? He would only get a manual. TIA

IMO get the psm. Especially just for the street, if you run it spirit fully as I'm sure we all do at one time or another it's easier to misjudge your speed because the car feels so good or inclement weather or even the other idiots on the road that cut you off and you have to make a panic maneuver to avoid hitting them. The pasm will get you out of trouble (ask me how I know) I have a lot of track experience and I was glad on several occasions, on public roads, that I have it on my car.
See this is what happens when you get old and you can't find your glasses, I 'm talking about psm and he was talking about pasm. WTF

Red Devil, does your friend plan on keeping the suspension stock?

I believe it's PASM. Yes, he will most-likely keep it stock but would he better off without if he was considering changes?

PASM is a great option. I have it on my 06 and is nice to have when you want to carve up the corners during a spirited drive.

I've heard PASM is really good to have on '06-'08 Cayman's with 19" wheels, too harsh without it. After reading about how it works (FAQ on P9), I ordered it on my new car.

PASM is a great option to have; especially if the car is equiped with Sport Chronos, it works hand in hand with PASM.

All sport chrono does with PASM is put it into sport mode when sport or sport+ is selected on sport chrono. Most people manually put PASM back into normal mode driving on the street anyway.
The real value with sport chrono is with PDK.
