clutch replacement, change flywheel as well?
when i do get to change my clutch, do i need to replace the flywheel as well?
ive read somewhere that since the flywheel is dual mass, it would need to be changed.
any ideas please?

I would say if your flywheel is more than 5 years old or has more than 40,000 miles on it & you are replacing the clutch you should replace the flywheel. You need to consider not just it's current condition but the condition it will be in the next time you have convienant access to it & you need to remove it anyway to inspect the IMSB & RMS
the car has 72,000 miles on the clock and clutch and flywheel are still original.
ive heard the resurfacing thing before, i think ill go with that option.
regarding lightweight flywheel ive heard people who praise them and people who didnt like them for street use, im not sure.
i live on an island, not a lot of long stretches, and although i only use the car on sundays, its still full of traffic, and some people say that it wont remain as driveable in traffic with the lightweight flywheel

I would always use the factory clutch kit (it's cheap and works for a lot more HP).

If you want a lighter FW buy one made for your car your car and made/sold by a reputable company.
Sincerely,
Macster.
Just last week I reccomended to my friend Joshua JJ to do this here in WA, he has a 06 CS , he got the Sharkwerks lightweight flywheel when they were doing his clutch in Tacoma

when we picked the Car up it was a great surprise to feel the additional HP!! the tech commented on the high quality and how nice the product was ..very quiet!!
I highlly reccomend the Sharkwerks LWFW -they made a believer out of me and the tech charged NOTHING additional to install at the time of clutch replacement ..SWEET!!
Thanks Sharkwerks !!

my only concern is that ive seen some videos of boxsters with lightweight flywheels and they dont sond very nice! i wouldnt want to ruin the nice sound the car has, I have the evoms induction kit, the full package sport exhaust (inc. cats manifolds and muffler), the lightweight pulley from RSS, the techno torque and im in the process of doing a remap. the car feels and sounds great, so although a bit more power would be nice, i wouldnt want to over do it and make it sound rough, so im a bit confused.
