Just kidding. yes, I know a little about what you're saying. My son is just getting interested in cars and the GTS we ordered is something we researched and built together. We both feel ownership of it and that's the best part of the experience.

Well, the conversation of "please hand me down the car in a few years " did come up

Normally, I'd agree with you...

But I've had numerous moments in my car like this one, that make me thankful of the enthusiasm I'm able to share with my children. Financially, sure, you're right. But for those things you can't put a price on, it sure seems worth the cost.

For everything else, there's MasterCard.

 

Great sentiment...one that I share. My 20 year old is a Marine, currently in Afghanistan. My one ongoing wish is to have him home and see him behind the wheel of my 981.
