How hard must you kick a Cayman's bumper to dent it?
Is it possible? Yes. One must kick fairly hard...
Hoping that you're not a victim of some type of damage..... (if so, I think vandalism/kicking in is less likely)

Unfortunately someone did indeed kick the bumper of my Cayman with rage while I was sitting in it. I would have gotten out but it was a clearly belligerent man who had taken his shirt off that would have tried to fight me. It is nighttime here so I can't tell if any damage was done but I am so OCD about my car because I love it so much that I am too impatient to wait for daylight so that I can tell if there is a dent or not -.-

People are so obnoxious and inconsiderate these days...
Let's hope that your car is OK. Even if there's a dent in the bumper, it can be easily pulled out with heat in an expert's hands. I know this from personal experience.
Good luck.
That is crazy. You ar a better man than me because I would have gotten out and laid the smackdown on him, but you definitely did the right thing. Nowadays, its better to call the police and file a report. Hope you were able to at least do that.

I agree that it was the right thing to do. I would've been furious, whipped out of the car, and confronted him with "WTF ARE YOU DOING, A-HOLE?!?!" But... what does that really accomplish other than satisfying the temper? You lose (jail) even if you "win"...
There's got to be a reason why someone kicks your bumper in the first place. This guy's first post is to ask how hard you have to kick a bumper to dent it?
Um, it requires 36lbs of thrust for a foot weighing 6lbs (appx weight of a average sized foot). But the real question is what kind of shoes was the perp. wearing?
I smell a troll..........
