2013 Porsche Lineup Driven... my Cayman S + 991 S Review [VIDEO]
Hi gents,
I have lurked on these forums for some time, mostly admiring cars that you guys own, but have something to contribute now.
I went to the Porsche Roadshow event recently and drove the entire lineup at Mosport. The standouts for me were the 981 Cayman S and the 991 Carrera S.
Here's a humble little video review I put together, including lots of driving footage and my thoughts on each car. Coming from the perspective of someone who owned a 987 Cayman S.
In case any of you might be interested.

This review was as good as any "professional" review I've experienced. Thanks for sharing this experience Sam. Your passion for Porsche cars definitely comes through. So, now, which car is for you? I feel blessed to have the Porsches of my dreams: an `11 Panamera 4S and a `13 Boxster S...the best of both worlds! By the way, I'm doing the roadshow at Summit Point on August 10th!

Great write-up! I'm one of those poor souls who is right now trying to decide between a used 2012 CPO 991 base and a new 2014 Cayman S for roughly the same price. I did own a 997.2 C4S PDK before, so that's my frame of reference. After driving the 2014 Cayman S, I started noticing the heavy (more refined?) feel of the 991 in comparison. The Cayman S just feels like "putty in my hands" as you so eloquently said in your video. It goes where you want when you want it to. And, to be honest, I don't feel it's underpowered compared to a base 991 (even though it's 25hp less).
I'm heavily leaning toward the Cayman S with my "must-have" options - PASM and Sport Exhaust... but 6sp manual not PDK.
Nights are the worst, because I know I'm going to stay up half the night trying to come to some kind of decision.... so tough.... so frustrating.... ARGHHHHH!
