Porsche Centre Melbourne Australia recently sent owners an offer to "get ipod connected " for $US375.00 in their magazine " Porsche Torque " ( Issue 2 2006 ) http://www.porschemelbourne.com.au/

While Australia is obviously just a bit far to take your car, it may be a worldwide Porsche thing or at least the service manager Flavio Parletta should be able to give you some advice.

Cheers

Dennis

looks like that will only work with the 986/996 older style PCMs. Bummer.

Yo Eric, when are you going to email out another update on the icelink? I want instant gratification man!

For anyone with a Becker-made head unit (pre- Bose switch), a quick call and $20 will give you an auxillary input. It utilizes the CD changer input, so they can't be used together. Unfortunately, I haven't researched the solution for the new Bose systems, but it sounds like Eric is on the case.
