its a ****ty law, but that guy was asking for it...speed isn't the issue the alcohol is.
even if one does think that 50km/h should get ur car impounded, the fact that police confiscate one's property without trial a disturbing thought. and if u are later on found not guilty of the stunting charge? does the government give us our money back? noooo......

Well got caught doing 157KMPH on the 403 on Helloween night on my way home... Got booked right before the Exit to my house... Cop was a Major Dick... Had the Car Impounded/Towed... Paid the Laywer $1200ish, Paid the Impound $800... Apprently my Tires were slashed while it was at the impound, so the owner decicded to put new tires on.. Tires costed him about $1000+... Court date next month, will see what happens...
