Need help...Misfiring problem
I just changed my plugs to the NGK iridiums, and gapped them to .025. The car was misfiring before I changed them, and is still misfiring after changing them all out. I have an OBD 2 reader, and it said that I had misfiring on cylinder 2 and 7. So, I pulled them both, checked gaps, checked the coils, everything looked really good, so re-installed. Car still misfired, this time only cyclinder 2. Sorry for my ignorance, but where is cylinder 2? Is it the 2nd one back from front bumper, on right hand side, when sitting behind the wheel? That is what I thought it was, and checked. Is it probably a bad coil, even though they all looked great?
Thanks for help in advance...

The coils are notoriously bad on these rigs. Hairline cracks can cause big problems and don't necessarily throw error codes. You don't say how many miles you have on your car and why you were changing your plugs but it would have been a good idea to replace your coils at the same time. Adds about $180 to the process.
24k miles...sorry about that. Changed them because I could tell the car was misfiring, and I know the berus just stink. The coils just looked great. Almost look new, couldn't see any hairline cracks, but that doesn't mean that they weren't there. Am I correct on the location of cylinder 2? Thank you for your input
