Discount on 2008 V6?

Thinking about getting my wife a 2008 V6, was wondering if any of you know what kind of discount to expect below MSRP?

I'm in the same boat. Trying to find the right low mileage CPO '08 has been tough, so maybe a new '08 with a decent discount might be my only option.

Just picked up a 08 V6 last month. Sticker was around 53750 but paid around 50350.

People can get 5 - 7% off MSRP since Porsche has 12% mark-up (what I found out on here and also what the sales told me).

I have contacted a few dealers in West Coast and the ones in CA gave me the most discount (7%) for a Cayenne S. However, the freight charge ($800 - $1k) made the discount a bit less appealing.

We ended up getting a good deal and going with a dealer in Portland, OR and just went down to pick it up.

V6's are really tight right now. work with the dealer in your area that you are most comfortable with that wants to take care of you (after the sale). realistically, somewhere around 3K off is about as good as it will get unless it is a high option car or something. day's supply on V6's is in the 12 to 14 day range right now. hope this helps...

I have to question the 12% Porsche mark up, I ordered mine last April and got very close to 12% off the sticker. There has to be extras or incentives.

nope. no extras, or incentives. sounds like your dealer just really likes you, or you're a good negotiator. of course, you got yours when they first came out, before they really caught on in the market with the general lux consumer. either way, feel really good about your deal, it doesn't get any better.

I know some ppl on here got over $10K off MSRP on 06's because they couldn't sell enough 06 and therefore no 07 Cayenne was made. I saw this info here as well. Is yours an 06?

As far as 12%...it's the info 'online' and from the 'sales' so I don't know how much credibility there is. LOL...

Mines an 08, I didn't have a trade-in and paid cash. I actually turned down an even better deal, (% cash wise) but he couldn't get the exact options I wanted.

As far as 06's go I had offers of $53K for $68K sticker price new 06 Tit's, but I didn't want the V8.
