08 Cayenne
Your probably getting different opinions because the 08 has bigger more powerful engine, the engine is moved back a little, tighter suspension, and the all around feel of the car is completely different than the previous models.
Got an 08 in June and love the car.. only got the v6 due to gas but don't regret the decision at all seeing i'm only really using it in the city. Have a 645 for interstate driving.

I did see a new cayenne being released, buts its a smaller one it looks like on the pics anyway...so the one that is out now is definatley being redesigned??? And they are going to have a smaller one as well??? Caus ei would hate to buy one now and next fall there is a 2nd generation being released..i guess whats a little disappointing to me is the dealer told me this is second generation..liar

I'm not sure on a baby Cayenne coming out, I know a hybrid is in the works.

Exactly since its a 2008 model (facelift) given the changes I think the new model is in 2011.
