My 2SYLBLS Cayenne...

So I made my decision to make a move... I chickened out and did not go for the Turbo... I am going to hold out and wait to see what Porsche has in store the New Boxster looks pretty attractive...

So what did I find? I got an absolute steal on a car that sat up at a Honda Dealer, in Valencia CA for the past 9 weeks. Through research I found that it was a customer ordered car registered 12/03 in Calabasas, CA the car was loaded with options! The only other option I really wished it had was PASM... but it was such a great deal that It will have to do. The Car is CLEAN! not a scratch, ding or nick anywhere in the paint. Overall the car look Brand spankin' new. The PO was smart enough to ask the dealer to leave the bumper a Virgin... Sorry Eric no bumper plugs needed Woohoo! They delivered the car to me today a couple bonuses Roof rack system is installed rails were in the back and all of the carpets had rubber mats. What a fun SUV...

Now let the mods begin... OH Where do I begin! Wheels, Fab speed cat bypass, Exhaust, Tips, CF interior, lowered, darker Tint, V1 hardwired, Red Calipers, Bluetooth car kit, paint lower skirts or better yet body kit!!1... oh so many decisions!....

Here is what she has to offer…

Options

NQ Black Smooth Leather
GOR Tip
PC3 Bi-Xenon Headlights w/washers
PD4 Electric Comfort package w/comfort or sport seats
PE2 Comfort Seats w/memory
PF4 PCM w/compass and instruments
PK3 Front seats heated including steering wheel
1N3 Variable assist Power steering
3FE Sunroof
3Y3 Roll-up Sun Screens
6A5 Fire Extinguisher
7A2 6 Disc Changer
7X2 Park Assist front and rear
9AH 4-Zone Air conditioner
9JA Non-Smoker pkg
A1 Black Top

Bonus... Tow package, Tow hitch, Rubber Mats, and roof rails.

?QUESTION?: Roof rails on or roof rails off? I am torn? ha ha...

Here are the pictures that the dealer took. I will take more this weekend! Nicole and I fell in love with the Cayenne this past spring during our stay in San Francisco. I had purchased a package at a charity auction that included 2 nights in S.F. and 2 nights in Sonoma …. Cayanne four 5 days. It was a very base Cayenne all the added options makes this car feel so lush. I just love it!

Eric, very nice choice that will be a beauty when your done with it.
Don't forget to add clear markers stainless steel front plate, and TT exhaust Tips. Mine is at the paint shop right now having the lower panels painted and the front Grill painted silver. Check my link below for all the Mods on mine. Congrats on your new purchase!

Arling... I will be hitting you up... The C2 sweet... she will be missed. These are two very different vehicles. With the 997 coming out next month it was time to part ways... I can't keep a car too long or I go insane...but my last SUV stuck for 4 years... I recently gave it to a family member so it needed to be replaced. Go figure by not getting the Turbo it leaves me in a position I can justify a toy... will see what is in store.

Kevin... thanks... I have been following your threads for some time. I was refreshing my memory the last couple of days. Clear side markers and Silver crest is a given. Ralph I need one more... third time returning customer

Any pics of the brush guard installed?

Kirby, its actually not that difficult, the front bumper has to be removed.. sounds diffifult but if you just remove the screws along the wheel well where you removed the side markers, then this plastic piece holds the bumper in place..just release it on both sides and the bumper slides off..

Then drill holes underneath and attach the plate with washers and your done. Shouldn't take more then 1 1/2 hours.
