A truck is a dodge ram, not a Porsche... Ours is a SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle)

It IS a truck. If you go to your local DMV, it's categorized as a 'truck'. My local DMV told me even Subaru Outback is categorized as a truck in their system.

I don't like the word "truck", i'm not going to discuss this here since I think this discussion is nonsense, however, a truck is really sounds lower quality when you consider the luxury of a Cayenne.

I pretty much call it a truck. Trucks are for guys. If my wife drives it then it's an SUV.

As far as quality and luxury are concerned, I wouldn't consider my interior all THAT quality or luxurious. Comfortable and purposeful are better descriptors. The peeling vents, door handles and ashtray covers don't really say quality to me... My 1995 Ford F250 doesn't even have peeling air vents!

Here in Indiana it's categorized as a passenger vehicle... actually a 5-door wagon.

I just call it the Cayenne... not a truck or an SUV.
