Anyone order an '09 GTS 6-speed manual?

Curious if orders are coming in or if there are any on dealer lots?
Thanks.

Based on sales of 08s there will be manual trans GTSs on dealers lots (if any order them with 6-spds....). Nothing against 6-spds but they do not sell as well as Tips. Kinda like the 928 (which I am a huge fan), most were ordered with auto but now everyone wants a 5-speed..... including me!!!!

They can have my '08 manual when they pry my cold, dead fingers off of it.

I've been driving an '09 6-speed GTS for almost a month (and loving it)...so yes, there's at least one of them in U.S. There are still a few '08s with manual trans on dealers' lots in my area (Chicago), so I would imagine the discounts could be large.

Good to hear

I should be getting one in the next couple weeks and hugely looking forward to it. And to anyone that is slamming the stick they should drive both (tip and stick) and then revisit their thinking.

Have to say that I did panic when I read a blurb on a dealer site "NO 2009 6 SPEEDS WILL BE BUILT!". Said dealer had three on his lot and was obviously trying to create some scarcity value.

Here is the dealer link....page to the "notes" at the bottom http://fairfield.porschedealer.com/n...ntoryid=394589

GTS 6-speed

I went back and forth on the tip-6 speed debate(internal). I drove each at least three times and spend 30 minutes in city and hwy with the manual. I have 2004 Cayenne S and a 2007 Carrera S cab (6 - speed). Jim Ellis in Atlanta was patient with me.

I like to shift and will drive my wife's car if I break a leg. Ordered the GTS in Meteor/Blk full leather with the 6-speed. Thought about 2006 Turbo S (similar price 6k miles). Did I say I like to shift? The Turbo S is a beast. GTS provides more feedback/fun for me. I could see going the other way.

For me the 6-speed manual, full leather, and PDCC options make the GTS "the way a car ought to be." I also went with the secondary cat bypass pipes. Sure, they're a little obnoxious in sport mode, especially with the short gearing of this combination, but I laugh every day on the way to work.
