Anyone ever get "Chassis Failure" alert in GTS?

Hi guys, just took delivery of a 2009 GTS 2 weeks ago. Driving around last week, I got the yellow exclamation point along with "Chassis Failure" message on the info screen.

I could not change from the suspension out of Normal to anything else. It happened twice. I cleared it both times by turning off the engine and starting it back up.

I've made a service appt for next week... just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what this is?

thx in advance.

two possibilities,
either one or more than one of the suspension struts are broken, or the air suspension module is broken. The same thing happened to me and the dealer first changed my front right air suspension strut and then the problem still persisted, then they replaced the module and it was all gone. If your dealer decides to follow the same route as mine did, tell them to replace the module first. I bet your sport mode is not working either )

Thx for the response guys. Yes, I do have PDCC. The problem hasn't occurred again..... yet.

However I did notice that the past few days, the suspension height setting for Normal, which should be in the middle has been stuck the Sport height.

Update : GTS is back at the dealer. Service techs are saying that they, indeed, need to change out the module.

You guys are good.

I hope this will be end of the error.

The other day my PCM kept rebooting (while I had nav on and ipod running).

Chalking this up to little bugs for now but I am really questioning the quality a bit and I ONLY own porsches.

Porsche of course has some bugs, bug believe me or not it has far less bugs than a BMW or MB computer... The best thing with Porsche is, when you go to dealer, if you've had enough, you can ask for a PCM replacement rather than asking them to diagnose the problem and they will not say no. Customer satisfaction guaranteed.
