Modify exterior from cs to tt?

I read somewhere here that people have modified their v6 and cs exterior into tt look.
Of course i can´t find those threads now when i search, when i need them.
So, will the tt front and rear bumper + hood fit my 05 cs?
(Are the hoods different?)
How is the work done, what difficulties and problems will i face?
What exterior parts do actually differ between my cs and tt?

thanks Peter

I haven't done this mod myself, but it's feasible and not so difficult based on my research.

I did it to my 08, only difference was the bumper cover, even the lower valance fit... Not sure about the 955 but the 957 was easy

in order for the conversion to be "passable" the following need to be chainged
1, the front bumper..(you will need the 4 grills also, and the washer jets need to be chainged as well)
2, the lower vallance/fog lights
3, the bonnet/hood
4, the rear bumper
5, the lower rear vallance
6, the quad tailpipes
7, 20" turbo wheels
8, paint the calipers red (big giveaway on non turbo models)
9, depending on your spec...the rear roor spoiler.

it will not pass close inspection if they either look in the interior, as the instrament cluster is different (so tint those windows )
also if they look under your wheel arches...as the turbo only has the air suspension) it was an expensive option on lesser models.

but everything is bolt on.

Great info on conversion but I wouldn't do it. I have done converting 330ci to M3 few years back but I'd rather sell the car or trade it to TT it will save your money and time.

if u r gonna go from cs to tt
then i would suggest go from 05 to 08 look.
replace the lights and go all out. again, it's an emotional decision. u will never recoop this money.

It would be awesome if DDMtuning comes with a cheaper solution on the front Cayenne Turbo bumper.

Just FYI, DDMtuning came out with a replica BMW e39 M5 front bumper for $150 (+$100 s/h fee) including fogs/grills/bumper strips and they were pretty popular mod to do all for $250.

I'm pretty sure DDMtuning will hit the market once again if they can pull the trigger on Cayenne turbo bumper for Cayenne owners.

Thanks all.
Due to vacccation and so on i have not yet done anything about the conversion.
Does anyone know how the 08 front/rear would fit?
Have anyone here done so?
A bit pricey i guess?

I will have a guy doing some paintjobs on my CS next week. I´m thinking of letting him paint the calipers red.
Is there any code/number i need to tell him to make sure it will end up in the right red color?
Or anything in particular that one have to think about? Any special kind of paint due to heat and son on?

You´re absolutly right about not putting Turbo after.
Do you know where to turn to get a nice badge saying just P O R S C H E in a size similar to the Cayenne badge?

Is there any special kind of color needed for painting calipers, because of heat or other reasons?

Ok, so at last i have the time to start doing this conversion.
(well not myself, i will leave it to a shop).
I have found a used front and lower valance. ( i will start w just doing the front).
Are there any isuses w the parkingsensors and the washers?
I read before somewhere that they were not bolt on.
I have the parkingsensors and would like to have it even after the conversion.

Someone said that there is something w "duct" that is not a perfect fit.
Due to my poor english i´m not sure what that means. Can you pls explain this for me?

Anythingelse that is not bolt on?

thanks ia

I don't see why not the parking sensors won't work with the turbo bumper. Drill some holes if it doesn't have 'em.

In terms of headlight washers, you will need to purchase the ones for turbo bumper; from what I've heard, they work w/ the water pressure, nothing mechanical.

Regarding to duct, they are probably referring to air flow duct for the front brakes? or.... not sure about that one.
