remote starter

this topic has been discussed in the past, but i have searched and found no results. has anybody come across a reliable remote starter system for the cayenne that actually functions w/security system??

not yet unless you decide to disable the immobilizer, which in fact you don't i know..

JBONDOx is infamous around these parts
you can integrate a remote starter that will actually retain the immobilizer, but overrides it during the remote start function. I have used both Viper and Compustar for remote starts. Further this is not cheap, so don't look for a bargain. It is not like adding a remote start to a Chevy.

i have a barametric remote start fitted to my car, it was £350 fitted here in the UK.

I just see immobilizers, the finger print scan (youtube video)... hell they can have the car if I would have to go through all that

There is a way to install a remote starter. But you'll have secret a key (w/chip) in the car close to the ignition switch..

its remote start on a key fob, then to drive off you scan your finger print, if you dont scan and try to drive off it cuts out within a few feet.

its designed so you can warm up car etc, but the car cannot be driven without your fingerprint...all other remote starts you can steal the car if you come across it running.

No you can't. if it is a quality unit with a quality installation

Right. If it was a Chevy, you'd have one from the factory.

I'm not an economist, but I think ****ty dealers and ****ty vehicles may have contributed.
