0-60 on CTT - S
Just went to Porsche wesite and saw the turbo 0-60 is 5.1 and the turbo s 0-60 is 4.8!
I swore the website used to advertise that the turbo 0-60 was 4.9 and the turbo s 0-60 4.7?!
any info on this change? I thought I bought a turbo that 0-60 was 4.9?
Am i delusional or was this some bait and switch?!

Porsche makes a power kit for the ctt now that adds 40 hp and brings the 0-60 to 4.9 which originally what I thought the 0-60 was when i bought the car.
The power kit is $18,000 + tax + labor FYI.
What A joke! is there anyway to demand the powerkit as a constellation, because we bought the car believing their advertised speed of 4.9 and now the story has changed!

...only if the stars align...
its not like I am comparing their stats to the conditions of when I ran my car. I am comparing the change in their stats!
I am not saying there is going to be any compensation, but I wonder why they came with the power upgrade that brings the 0-60 time to the originally quoted time. Seems like a party ha already admitted to being guilty!

M6 would donkey punch a CTT, and I'm not an M6 fan or new M5 fan, prefer the E39 M5. Your talking an almost 20 mph difference in trap speeds.
yes clearly m6 would own a ctt, the m6 driver obviously has no clue how to drive or wasnt really "racing" you.
anyways stop hi jacking this thread!

To the OP, I wouldn't be too concerned with published 0-60 times. Porsche has historically (as in for every single car they've ever produced) understated performance specs when compared to what magazines and *good* track drivers can extract out of the car. That said, I doubt a normal driver would be interested in trying to extract the same times as the former do so with no concern for longevity or reliability of their test cars.
For reference, a 2009 CTTS tested as follows:
Zero to 60 mph: 4.4 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 10.8 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 19.3 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 5.1 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 12.9 sec @ 110 mph
Top speed (drag limited): 174 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 160 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.88 g

forget this whole thread. I am an idiot. When I was looking at the official porsche published times I accidently looked at the porsche Canada which is different... thus the higher times.
