2008+ lower rear valance and tips on 2004 TT?

Does anyone know if the 2008+ lower rear valance fits the 2004-2007 rear bumper? I have a 2004 Turbo, but like the look of the pipes coming through the bumper on the newer models. I'm wondering if it's possible to for the dual elliptical tips and 2008+ lower valance on my 2004. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

no, (short answer) you will need the newer bumper also, it looks the same but the ends are different.
i think its to do with the different shape rear lights.

good luck.

Thanks. Not sure I am willing to go full bumper and lights. I believe I read in another thread that the lights aren't drop in replacements. I actually do like the styling of the earlier lights better as well, just hoping for the through bumper exhaust look. oh well....

You can get this look by ordering the Sport Design rear lower valence from Porsche. It is part of their body kit for the 955 style Cayenne. You can order just the rear valence from the dealer.

I'm actually not sure thats true......The lower rear valence actually connects to the upper rear bumper which houses the lower portion of the lights and rear tailgate (Chrome) plate.

I'm going to actually try and see if this works within the week, will keep you guys posted.....but according to my body shop, should mate up just fine!

the pipes through the bumper vallance will definatly not fit on the early rear bumper....i have tried it .you need the compleate new style rear bumper (the newer bumper is a different shape on the corners bellow the lights, and its a tad bigger.) that means you will need the newer rear lights as well, and the newer tail pipe trims.
way too expensive, unless you have to repair after an accident.

porsche have deliberatly engeneered it this way so a "quick/cheap" facelift is not possible.
keeping things as they should be for purchasers of newer cars.

The dealer quote is around $1500 for this piece. There are also a few aftermarket alternatives if you're after that kind of look.
