Forced Induction GTS?

Has there been any plans to custom add FI to the GTS? Love it, but when I drove the 6 speed I couldn't help but think how much better it would be with more power, I'd still take it over the turbo just for the fact of having manual trans. Even just a s/c would be great with the added torque and power, nothing crazy. I thought I read about EVO working on something but I may be wrong?

All these views and nothing? Did this come up before, as I searched and didn't see anything?

Below is one thread on the topic. Basically, it would be more cost-effective to just sell your GTS and buy a CTT (unless you must have the manual tranny).

He wants a manual tranny. So that does not work.

Haha I just saw that movie and was like wtf they have a manual turbo lol, good movie I liked it, freaky **** to think that something like that may/could eventually happen.

But yeah I would want to keep the manual trans, that gives the truck all its character. Friends Denali has a Magnacharger and it flat out hauls ***, the downlow torque is awesome, a good twin-screw type setup or one of the new Eatons would work awesome on the GTS.

Not sure it would be worth boosting an engine that is already at 12.5:1 compression ratio. Max boost would not even be worth the hassle.

Reality is as everyone says, cheaper just to buy the turbo. What's odd to me is that I have not seen an aftermarket turbo kit for the S. They make T's for cheap for just about everything (they sold a turbo kit for $2k for my old beater dodge truck), but i have yet to see a direct bolt on for the S.

Anyone care to enlighten me with some links that to a turbo kit for an S (he said with a glint of hope ) ?
