Best mods for Cayenne GTS? Improve MPG and power etc

About to pick up a 6speed GTS, already planning on some mods.

What are the best mods to improve MPG and power? From some of the posyting GIAC flash are good? feedback?

Exhaust system? Which one are do members recommend?

Diet? The car is a pig, looking to give it a diet program, what have you done to lower the weight of the car?

Any problems or issues I should watch out for with GTS? or Cayenne in general?

Thanks in advance, look forward joining the GTS club

Its a truck. A very fun truck at that. But I would suggest driving your car, any car when you want to go fast.

The 6spd is what makes the gts a blast, and the fact that I can throw a bobcat tire in the back, literally.

But I would refrain from turning the gts into anything other than what it is....

It's NOT a truck.... it's either a Sport Wagon (as State Farm classifies my '09 GTS) or a Sport Utility Vehicle.

A truck is a Ford F350 period.

it's hardly a truck. The GTS is a fun car but if you're concerned about MPGs, then I would suggest to get something else. There's pretty much nothing significant you can do to reduce weight...it's a 5000lb vehicle.

As for engine/performance mods, I would suggest intake, exhaust, ECU flash.

For a flash checkout EVOMSit.. They list " Realistic " numbers for gains on that car.. With the Intake and Flash +21hp / +31tq is a nice pickup.. Also increase in gas mileage doesn't hurt if your not heavy on the pedal.. LOL

If you need any info feel free to PM me.. Thanks!!

It may not be a "truck" , my point was that if someone buys a gts thinking theyre scratching their sports car itch, it will do that. If someone buys it instead of a sports car they will be dissapointed.

I love my gts for what it is, a middle ground between my tundra and gt3.

Pardon my ignorance if i misinterpreted this:

I just looked at the Evomsit website with the GTS tuning package. I believe it says that the dyno reads +/- 315 hp stock and +/- 325 hp with the Evomsit software. Is there really only a 10 hp gain? Also, is there really an approximate 25% drop in engine / wheel HP reading (405 vs 315)?

Thanks

Chris
