Test drove a 06CTTS today
Hello, I took a drive down to a dealer that had an 08 M3 coupe and an 06 CTTS, i drove the M3 first...it was....ok....different. I guess really different since I drove the TT 245miles to see the cars then hoped into the M3. Anyway, it was nice, but then hopped in the CTTS! YOWZA! What fun! I can honestly say that was a blast to drive even if it was for just a short ride. I scared the crap out of the salesman when I hard accelerated towards a red light to test the brakes. An old man tried to cut across 2 lanes to make a right turn right in front of me! GOOOD BRAKES on that CTTS! Me Likey! But I didn't let him know that. Of course he was busy crapping his pants to pay attention to me.
Unfortunately we couldn't come together on a deal. I'll have to keep looking.

The best I could get it down to was $50 for CTTS 39k miles with them. Good? not so good? I usually can do better. I just didn't have "the feeling" that I get when I know I've won the negotiating battle.
mine was 54k last month but had the options i wanted - entry & drive, trailer hitch, roof rails, rear camera, thermal glass, etc etc virtually flawless 33kmiles (don't know how it's possble but true) and CPO. good luck
The price is actually decent. Is it CPO? I assume not, since they also had an M3.
How long has it been on their lot? It can't be too easy to sell a 4 year old high performance SUV for $50k in this climate. My dealer couldn't sell for "my" price when I was there. I got an e-mail a few days later saying they could make it work.
Check out the auction prices and use them as bargaining power... if they lean in your favor.

Yea, that $50k was a pretty good deal, they were asking $57k for it which was a reduced price, I picked up on some little things about the truck that I used in negotiation as well as I was able to trick the dude into telling me how long they had had the truck in inventory. But it was loaded.
I didn't end up getting a CTTS at all, I decided to get a new M3 and play with it for a while.
But I'd say between $50-55k is a good deal on CTTS depending on condition and options.
Hope that helped.

They had it for 68 days at that point.
If prices have indeed gone up, then I am thrilled. Picked up my '06 TTS CPO last year with 20k for $64k. Thought I would take a huge hit with the economic climate we're in if I were to sell this year.
