Ok be nice now....lol

I just got a 2004 Cayenne Turbo and want to mod it.

Now I'm all about the Fabspeed and EVOtech but humor me and tell me what you think of these few items below... complete scam?

Oxygen Sensor POWER Performance CHIP - $99 +15-25 additional HP

Super Chip - Jet Performance - $89 up to 35 horses

Stage 3 Surge O2 Chip Combo - $299.99+15-40 additional HP

Not where I would start nor would I go there. There are better options out there IMHO. Right now I am working on mine for an '05 CT.

Thumbs up

EVOMS air intake, some one's secondary Cat by pass pipes, IPD plenum, EVOMSit ECU--provided by dealer goes along with it.

I don't know if those are scams but I doubt any of them will work on a CT.

Avoid them. Go with something tried & true. There's a lot of info in this forum. There are several sponsors who will help you eagerly and they are reputable.

I would recommend sticking with some of the proven tuners on the forum. We fully endorse and exclusively use the EVOMSit software here for many reasons, but most importantly because of the proven results and fantastic support from EVO.

If you need any pricing or info, feel free to let me know.

gra8ful: let me know if you need some love on any of those parts you're looking for.

I've asked the question before with no response so I'll try again; there are not a lot modifications to add to the CTT, unless you spend huge $$. "Has anyone ever added or knows somebody that has added water/meth injection to there CTT??

We haven't done a water/meth on a CTT here, and I can't think of anyone that has, to be honest.

That being said, I don't see why it can't be done. I guess it's just rare to find CTT owners that get to that level of tuning.

Yes I agree, I just ran out of inexpense mods and think this might be another possibilty? If mine didn't have close to 90K miles on it I would probably try it but I'm waiting to see the new model CTT in person or upgrade to 09 CTT S, then maybe try it??

I think there are basically two approaches to mods for the CT: Either a basic intergrated kit like I am planning which features EVOMS or the whole EVOMS GT700 kit with a few additions.

None of this is cheap. And it all depends on the ECU remap to pull it together and that's exactly when the expense lies. While most chip tuners charge $400-500, CT electronics and limited market make that $1,800-3,000!

That said, the path I envision gets me the most power for the buck and I should aquire 100 more HP and reduce that turbo lag.

Still, I am stuck with poor gas (90 octane) as you are in Colorado. Going the full GT700 route would require shipping my CT from Alaska to Arizona and the expense jumps from approximately $30 per HP to more than $100 per HP gained!

I don't have $22,000+ for parts (not including labor and shipping). Besides, unless I became very wealthy, I would be inclined to buy the new CT and save the weight--where more performance gains are possible.

PS You've got Tom's attention. Let him and Rennsport-1 pull something together for you. Let us know what you decide and how it turns out.
