'06 CTT or '09 GTS or '11 S

Need your opinions, I have the '06 CTT, black on black, love it, it has 60k miles on it and has been pretty trouble free.

My dealer has a nice black GTS, black, not sure on interior color. 16k miles

Also has a white '11 S with tan interior, looks awsome in white, new

Keep what I have or move towards one of these, thoughts?

Thanks

If you are thinking between the '09 GTS and the '11 S the performance is about the same if not barely off, so I would go with the '11. Now you won't get the huge grill/vent thing but you will have a much nicer overall car. Now as for the '11 S,(I know I have a '11 but I hated my RRS HSE, don't know why I bought it >.>) if you can wait a year, then do that. Because they will have most of the kinks worked out if any at all, and if you can't find anything wrong with the '11, then go for it. Also if the '11 S does not have PDCC, then I would wait and spec one out with it, because on the GTS I know it comes standard, and you can also get PTV plus on the '11 S, which you can't with the GTS. I guess though overall, it is personal preference. All I know is I was going to choose between a '09 Turbo s and a '11 Turbo, and I am so much happier that I waited to see the '11. I am very happy with it, and have not had any problems so far. I hope you are happy with whatever you choose .

11 S because of the significant changes, value, interior, weight loss of 400lbs, etc. IMO.

I have a 04 CTT and have been going to all the Porsche driving events to try out the new 11 Cayennes. It's neat. But honestly makes me appreciate my early CTT even more.

Are the 11s better than my first gen CTT. YES! Are they worth the price difference it would cost me to change? NO! Which is also my feeling on the 08 GTS.

For the cost savings you can add some other fun toy to the garage and be money ahead!

I just recently had to make the same choice . I had to choose between an 08 Turbo, 09 GTS, or 11s. For us the Turbo was the right choice.

The bottom line is you need to get whatever you will be happy with.

If you want to stand out and look hip get the GTS.

If not get the '11

Great advice by others also.

If you want, just wait a few years to get a newer used Turbo with low mileage(I know Jim Ellis Porsche has a '09 Turbo S that has less then 10k miles, so you may be able to find one). The '11 S and the GTS will not be a fun or sporty as the Turbo, and unless you are willing to get a different exhaust for the '11 S, I believe the GTS has the better sound quality . I know my new Turbo sounds less throatier then the older models(it may just be me), but it was pretty hard for me to decide between the '09 and a '11, but since the '09 had a rougher ride, I had to get the '11, but I do not regret it 1 bit. Will I get a '09 or '10 later in life, maybe, because to me the facelifted older models might be a bit more fun(but then again you have more power then the older Turbo/Turbo S and you have PTV plus which gets rid of most if not all the roll-over, because I don't know if older models still had a bunch of roll-over, but I am glad I have that option). Anyway sorry to post this long paragraph, and if they do come back out with a GTS or Turbo S for the new generation then I won't have to worry to much about the older models too much (or they can at least give us a power kit option like the last generation?). Overall go with what makes you happy and feels the most fun.
