Congrats! You have designed a very sweet ride. Is reference number the same as production number..... and what is MODE, my dealer has promised one but I don't even know what it is. What if some girl asks me to..... (sleepless in seattle).

I'm also told that my car is in production for March. Reference number begins 237... any meaning? Order status lists as mfgcnf??? Car is SPPCNA . Anyone know what all this means.

Sounds like our cars may build as brothers.

My final build:

Cayenne S, White, Beige, Natural Olive
Sport Seats
Premium Package Plus
PDCC/PTV
19" Turbo Wheels, Summer tires (tried for 20" but order had closed)
Bose Audio package
Panaramic roof
Voice for Nav

Ah but the wait, wait, wait....

I also have an Order Reference that starts with 237***. Under "Mode" it has 04.01.2011-04.30.2011. I have no idea what all that means, but the order is for a CV6 Black on standard black. Premium package plus, 19" turbo Wheel, Exterior Package High Gloss, Bose.

My Mode shows 3/01/11-3/31/11. When dealer emailed me about a 2/24 completion date I asked for new paper to obsess over.

He's German so the communications haven't been spot on. Anyway, he claims that the Porsche computer shows my new completion date but he can't print it out. Only paper he can give me shows the old date.

Hard to know what is really going on.

Is the Platinum Grey interior a very light grey, or a grey that matches the rest of the leather? I've seen both.

Congrats with an excellent thought out build.

I wish it weren't so hard to figure it out. My consultant is awesome! He's answered all my questions and is really the reason I decided to go ahead and start the process of ordering now rather than wait until the summer like I originally planned. I had also planned to buy off the lot, but I have now really enjoyed hand picking options and so forth. I am hoping some miracle happens and I get my vehicle early too.
