also included a snapshot of the build.. they left off the porsche crest headrests when I saw the final invoice, I asked the dealer what he was going to do and he said nothing, they're not on it! What kinda @#$% is that? I told him to make it happen, I want them...
they are also going to honor the pre-markup price we saw in Jan. as this order was placed in Nov.

 

what is the name of the cargo vessel? do you know when it left port in germany?

 

left Emden on Feb. 3... what port will your friends vehicle come into?

 

he was saying davisville, which is why your post interested me... i guess his car is week behind yours then.....


kinda upsetting about your headrests, sounds like something wasn't ready in the exclusive factory (you have other exclusive options)... the dealer should order and swap them for the option cost ($570?)

a) when I heard about the increase I asked what they would do and he said they would honor the original quote.. not sure they have to though

Sorry to hear about your headrest crests not being there. My local dealer ordered a Hybrid with pano roof. The car came in , I heard, with the window sticker indicating pano roof as it should. However, there was no pano roof on the Cayenne.

When was your build completion date, mine was 8 Feb. So my Cayenne S should be swimming as we speak.

 

Alex, if it's off the Vehicle Carrier in Davisville it should about 2 weeks from the time it left Emden.. so probably into Davisville later this week. Then on to the Dealer from there.

 

alex.. 'bout the green/grey.. my first thought was a balck interior but then I used the Pantone color website and grey was recommended over black; I had a BMW 3 with grey interior and always liked that one.

 

check 6.. mine finished production on Jan. 24th, didn't get to the docks in Emden till Feb. 1, left Emden Feb. 3. Had to do some sleuthing to figure out which boat it was on, the dealer rep was less than helpful!

 

exciting news everyone is getting their new 2011 Cayennes. My V6 cayenne is was originally supposed to finish production on Feb 28, however last week the dealer told me I was ahead of schedule and completion date will be Feb 24. So if things follow what others and my dealer are saying my truck should hit the sea on March 3rd and arrive at the end of the month.
