Mine changed to PDIMON on Friday morning....looks like it may actually be in our hands this week! Woot!

 

That sounds like an awesome color combo. They are tinting the windows Wednesday, Autobahn Thursday, Detailing and Scotchguard Friday, pick up the BEAST Saturday. Life will be good, then to start the next project?? Boxster Spider or Cayman R???????

 

That's a quality decision. I have a 2012 Turbo on order for delivery later this year. My GT3 is coming off lease and I can't extend. There are no more GT cars for two to three years.

 

y wont they extend it? Cant u by it off lease? when does the turbo arrive?

 

YAY!! Car is finally at dealer. They did the DME upgrade so car is just about ready for me to pick up. Unfortunately there is some sort of paint damage on the fender, so that needs to be sorted first. Looks like someone dropped a dollup of dark paint on the side, it ran down and dried. Strange thing is that this was UNDER the factory wrapping. Quality control issue?

Really hoping this can be easily fixed without having to respray the entire front fender. I have complete confidence that the dealer will make right. Just delays the process a little.

The Amethyst is beautiful - not nearly as purple as I thought, much more gold color in it which goes great with the interior. Once all is sorted, will of course post pics.

Updated: looks like a relatively buff/polish to fix the fender. Yay again!

 

Look forward to seeing the Amethyst in natural lighting.

 

As one of the earlier posters on this thread, I am happy to announce the arrival of a 4558lb baby girl with DME eyes and sporting one helluvan undercarriage. Of everything about this vehicle what I look forward to most is putting it through weight transfer and off road excercises.

Hard to say what rating to give Porsche on dealing with the Stop Sale problem. From where I sit it rates a C+ but how could i possibly know their internal difficulties or missed opportunities.

 

Car now at dealer...I thought it was April Fools but apparently that was 20 days ago. Only about 5 months from order to delivery. Ugh.

 

For those who haven't gotten their CTT it is more than worth the wait. I got mine yesterday and didn't want to get out. Got more complements on this CTT than any other car I have had before. Got stopped by a local cop because he wanted to know what it was. Anyway for those who are waiting keep up the faith u wont be disappointed and for those of us who have them we are truly lucky people. Happy Easter

 

Got our Cayenne S (Wife's) on Saturday. Definitely an overwhelming feel of improvement from my 08 GTS (which I still have). The interior to the engine. White with black interior (got another kid coming in a month). Oh, how would I love to paint the wheel extensions and lower bits of the car in white as well, but its leased...so don't think we'll be doing that.
