Cayenne autocross?

Does anyone autocross these? I'm thinking about doing it with my 2004 turbo this weekend.

Ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

GREAT video! One would never guess that came from the ****pit of an SUV!! No camera shake at all - just goes to show you how smooth these trucks are (and the quality of camera being used I assume).

I got my 996 Turbo back and decided not to autocross the Cayenne Turbo. I bet it would have been fun. The Cayenne Turbo is now for sale. Check it in the classified section. Thanks.

great video.. I thought about Auto-X'ing my CTT but decided against it thinking it was too bulky with a higher center of gravity... I've Auto'X'd my '04 350Z Vert, '06 STi, & '07 BMW 335i Coupe... by far my STi killed them all and that was the reason i thought the CTT would do good... but still couldn't get myself to do it... BTW OP, where do you Auto-X? Im in Frisco, TX just north of Dallas and I know Oklahoma City isn't too far away from me...

Isaad, I bet they have it near you. The Porsche club of KC does it up here. If KC has it, I bet Dallas does! Check with your local Porsche club.

Great idea! I'll have to check them out... I 've just been so busy with work and all I have not had time to get to it.. I do make it out to the Local Cars & Coffee at the local BMW dealer which gets 200 to 400 cars depending on the weather... plus the OP sent me a link to where they and I must say its very very tempting... too bad its 3.5 hours away...

Here are a few vids from me and my buddy autocrossing my 04 CTT over the summer. We were both new to autocross and filming so these videos leave lots of room for improvement, but we had a LOT of fun. I will say that the CTT is capable, but really seeing all the other cars out there just made me want to get a more legit racecar, or at least a Cayman. I did get a decent four wheel drift going in one of the rainy videos....

P.S. at my most recent service appointment I ended up needing new brake pads and a replacement motor mount.. go figure
