I cannot believe this. It can't be true. I send my prayers to Ben. May he rest in peace for all eternity. My regards to his family and friends.

You know, my CS did it's usual 'lay down and die' routine the other day...it was really bad...maybe a 3 second 'lag'..For some reason I immediately thought of Ben and how I wanted to post yet again my complaints about this weird terrible 'lag'.

I thought that most people on this board are just sick and tired of hearing me ***** all the time about my CS...except Ben, who knew what I was going through..

All this went through my mind very quickly and randomly..I did not know that on or about that time, Ben had been killed in the accident.

When I logged on yesterday, I was going to post about the hesitiation and how dangerous it was, when I read about the tragedy..

I do find comfort that while I never met Ben, I am feeling the loss very much and that others here are going through similar feelings.

Events like this are always a wake up call to us, to appreciate what we have and the people we love and to be grateful for all the good in our lives on a daily basis.

Ben died doing something he loved. As disturbing as it is to know that this tragedy could have and should have been avoided, there is some solace that at least he was living his life in a way that he truly enjoyed.

Still seems so unreal..
