Are these the phillips LEDs? they look larger (wider) and seem to fill out the grill nicely

Thank you everyone. This was the DRL I used.

I thought about getting the Philips LED as well, but it was not as wide as I wanted and way over priced. The only modification I made was sanding the edges so the shape flows nicely with the shape of the grills. As you can see the differences between the original design and mine. It was a 5 minute sanding.

Here is a video link of the images shown. See how bright those lights are.

Thought you guys might enjoy this to...someone uploaded this when I designed this vehicle in college for my senior thesis back in the days. Check it out.

When I get some free time I will tried to post some DIY images. How to run the wires efficiently to the engine fuse box, without tapping to other wires and without you have to go through the firew wall. Its very simple. I found a clever way to installed this.

Transport looks like a lot of fun (work too) to have thought up and take as far as you did. Really looks great.

Back to the DRL. Do you have them turn on with the car or do you need to flip the light switch? Seems like the directions suggest tapping into the parking lights or side marker whereas other products seem to be set up to come on with the car and can further be linked with the turn signal and have relays to deal with error codes etc. Also, would appreciate pics of your install. thanks

It was very simple. The light comes on when ignition is turned. No flip switch. I wired to the engine fuse box. Fuse #9 by using a piggyback fuse tap I bought from Pepboys. I wired the ground to the bolt next to the engine fuse box. The light turn off by it self 10 minutes after the engine is off. I think the DRL was proramed that way for short circuit purposes. When I get some free time I'll post pictures how I ran the wiring without drilling.

Hi all, I am new to this forum but I have been checking it out

I installed the same DRL bought from ebay. I used double side tape, top and bottom, and push them into the grills. They fit just well, the grills expanded just a bit like few mm. I will post pictures when i get a chance.

I have not done the wiring part yet because I don't know how and have not found (detailed) instructions. I can't wait for @bansasn to share it.

Waiting for my car. The dealer is replacing my tie rods and rear hatch struts. As soon as I get my car back I will tried to take some pictures how I wired the DRL.

I tried to replace the side markers today and thought I could have used/stripped the wires for the DRL, any advice? Do or don't?

Thanks.
