look under car. you can see an extra hole on the muffler that is covered/capped for the v6 and an empty piping tunnel with heat shield. connect the dots. it's just for sounds though. have you try driving with psm turned off?

Check the parts for sale on this site. There is a member selling a nice setup for the Cayenne with 6 cylinders. Great price IIRC, check it out. I believe his 6speedname is Mamut.

fab speed sells a supercup set up that deletes the mufflers and adds resonators along with factory resonators.....they also have maxflo muffler set up.
