Boost leak tester

I just bought the porsche metal intake pressure tester caps and was wondering if anyone has used them on a 955 cayenne turbo and how to do the test and what psi to test up to. If people have tried other ways, I would interested to know in order to hunt down a possible boost leak. Thanks.

Martin

just curious, but where do the caps connect to? From the Turbo outlet on or to the intake manifold? I've done them on other turbo cars, never on the cayenne though.

I currently have the evom v-flow intake and just realized why I could not do the intake testing with the posrche connectors. It actually connects to the plastic pipe that goes between the MAF and the OEM airbox. Since that part is removed for the vflow, I will have to by the plastic pipe and connect it to use it.

I have mine laying around, but maybe you can find someone local that has some laying around to borrow. I guess that would be easier connecting there at the maf inlet. it should also catch any check valve issues that may exist in the PCV system as well. What about using some silicone adapters/hose clamps? And just directly to the maf? Good luck.
