Smile 2006 Turbo S gets Leistung Exhaust

The stock truck is just too damn quiet for 520HP. I needed to shake things up a bit. I talked to Rob at Leistung and settled on his Secondary Pipes and and the Supersport Exhaust.

Rob made some tweaks to the design on both the secondaries and the rear X pipe. The secondaries now have some nice adjustable mounting arms on them and the X pipe is 3" and has a new ball type joint to give the rear muffler 360deg of adjustability. It all went together nicely but took about half a day since I was really making sure I got it all assembled straight and without leaks. The top nut on the stock secondaries is PIA to get to. But, with a shorty 13mm I was able to get it off. The adjustability of both pieces gave it a lot of flexibility in positioning and it all went in like stock.

Now the sound...finally it sounds like the bad-*** it should. Boost comes on much quicker off the line and now I find myself pulling to redline just to hear it roar. I have the intake on order and it will be in next week. Can't wait!

I will post some install pics and sounds later. Time for a brew now.

Is Leistung still selling parts? I've tried relentlessly getting a hold of them for some items, to no avail.

Sounds like your new exhaust is a thumbs up in all aspects!! Looking forward to seeing some pics and hearing the rumble!

Leistung took some time off in July. They are back at it now. I just talked to Rob today. He has been traveling a lot lately.

I agree - Leistung has great products...Had an exhaust put on my 2006 Cayenne S and it roars now. Even wife likes the new noise!
