2nd cat bypass install

2 banana job, with oil change being 1 and engine r&r being 5. Pretty easy. drove the pig upon blocks for a little more clearance. As for the flange bolts. 4 snapped off, one came off properly and one stripped. On the stripped one used a nut splitter and then vice grips. They are Leistung bypass pipes I bought last summer, but never got around to installing. Good fit with no rattle. Sounds way better. No extra sound in the car.
Seat of the pants impression is it a little quicker. First step of my pre tune mods.

It's great the wife likes it. So, is cat removal legal in Canada?

Like anywhere you will be violating most federal or state/provincial laws if you remove the catalytic convertor. I removed the "resonator".

Will this effect the emissions test or bring on a trouble code?

the federal law only applies to manufacturers not individuals.

no trouble codes with secondary bypass, no sensors are downstream of the secondary cats.

I bought a set of FVD bypass pipes, but have to wait for the Spring to install them, it is killing me to look at them every day, and know I have about 5 months to wait.

Maybe I will just get my garage heater fired up and start work over Xmas break.
