Wheels Advice..

Hi All,

New to the forum and have enjoyed reading comments of all members...

Got a 2008 turbo and had bypass, Remus exhaust, IPD and DMS tune done after all installations, have not driven the car as its on the boat and expected next few weeks but was informed that the performance and sound diff from stock to upgrades was good but after tune totally awesome... can't wait.

I will need to change Tyres due to our road conditions and will occasionally be going off road, stock 295x35x21.. can not get a 40 or 45 profile in 21, any suggestions on best replacement rim and tyre size?

Will appreciate any input..

I have use 265/50-20 not on the cayenne but on some my other car for light off roading terrain seem to capable for me. I have 275/45-20 on my but still feeling uneasy about off-roading it if I have to then I'm sure its enough but wouldn't risk it.

I would probably go down to a 19" wheel with a bigger sidewall (275/45/19).

If you're going to drive off road, then more rubber is better. 19" wheels would be a great compromise and wouldn't impact handling too much. I drop down to 18" wheels for my winter tires and they handle very well.

Thanks, 50 profile on 19 should be safe....but ideal would be off road as per below but that would cause pdcc problems I think...

Welcome to the group. I would suggest 255 55R18 tires and because your roads are what they are, along with your off-roads, I would suggest the Nitto Terra Grapplers. They are a great tire.

Thank you, that would be ideal but it seems on the CTT 957 with pdcc 19 would be ideal... Will check out the NT GRapplers
