Value Retention

My 2004 model titanium Turbo has 81,000 km./50,000 miles and is going on the block. It will be shod with 18's and snow tires as the 19's are going to be the winter set for a new 2006. It has 3M stoneguard and has been always dealer maintained. It is in very good to excellent condition.

What is the current value of this vehicle?.... any currency. Thanks.

This may be of help to you, I dont know

I sold my 2004 Cayenne S that I bought in December two years ago now. It had 24,000 miles and was in a four car collision.

I traded it into the dealer when I bought another vehicle and they offered me a staggering $44,500.00 for my Cayenne S! That was pretty good I thought!

BTW it was stickered at $68,000 new

Hey out there to all you potential repeat customers for the Cayenne.

Just got the numbers from my dealer and it ain't pretty. $67,000.00 Canadian dollars is the offer and for those that need to convert this number into U.S. currency...................don't do it because it will make you puke.

How brutal is that for no value retention for a twin turbo V8 powered SUV in an energy crisis??? Hybrid vehicle production for Porsche is in the future!!!!

That sucks. I paid $65K for my 2004 CTT with 22K loaded from the dealer. I think I got a pretty good deal

Iam afraid that Value Retention may be the wrong heading for this thread. It should be value freefall!

It was financially painful but I picked up the new white beast tonight.

Nothing like a fresh powerplant, fresh driveline, new tires, new glass, streak free wipers and WOW is the Panoramic roof ever a feat of engineering and very quiet with literally no wind noise. The black out exterior trim package is the only way to order the white but Porsche doesn't blacken the Cayenne Turbo emblem on the rear liftgate. Needless to say there is a replacement emblem at the paint shop as I post this. The soft ruffled seat interiors are sweet as is the new remote and the beep on locking.

Looking forward to modding come springtime.

Merry Christmas Gang.

Of course a dealer would give you $65k for it as they take them in for trade or wholesale. A private sale would've given you much more money.

allenjdmb is infamous around these parts
I think you did well...

as I wouldn't think it would do that much. I passed on a 68k mile S with lots of equipment this week from a fellow small dealer...He thinks it will do $36k wholesale, but most everyone on my bus thinks it's more like $34. I'm afraid it's going to get worse. Porsche has plenty of new trucks to sell, and what looks like a subsidized lease too. They are not going to let them sit around. Hang on.
