GTS Performance Upgrades

I wanted to know what performance upgrades are available for the GTS cars. I am considering getting one but would like to know some options ahead of my purchase.

I would appreciate any input from the Cayenne owners here on the forum.

Thanks
Kyle

intake, tune, exhaust, cosmetics, suspension, whatever you want asking as your pockets are deep enough.

I am mainly interested in Tune options, and what I can expect from those on a GTS.

Thanks
Kyle

Tunes are ok. I have the mods in my sig. the truck is very torquey. But it won't be a night and day difference like on a turbo car. When I got the tune, I asked the tech if it went through because I couldn't feel a difference. It's such a pig that it's negligible on the 25 horsepower difference. A gts even more so because they had more power tvs me to begin with. I had 385 stock, where as a gts had 405. But with a tune then both get 420.

I have an 09GTS with the below mods:

Softronic Tune (93 octane)
Fabspeed Secondary CAT Bypass Pipes
Techart Lowering Module
BMC Drop-In Air Filters

As others said, they aren't going to make a huge difference (as compared to Turbos or newer GTS's that are v6 turbo) but I was able to feel that the tune did make throttle response peppier.. The secondary bypass pipes and BMC filters make the engine sound meaner, but overall you're not going to get huge gains out of HP..

I think all GTS's come with Air Suspension, so any lowering mod will drop it around 1" or so without affecting ride-quality. Much easier then having to get lowering springs/etc. There are many mods out there for suspension that are plug-n-play without needing to visit the dealer..

In the end, you have to set your expectations. If you want to have 50+ hp gains, you want a turbo or you will need to invest more in engine mods that should be done by an experienced shop.

Can you please tell me which techart module you have that worked? I contacted techart directly and someone told me the 09 doesn’t have a module...did you use the module for the older model cayenne and it just worked?
