24 tires out.

I just have seen two 24 inch tires that will fit the cayenne available for purchase. I've seen a 275/25zr24XL pirelli pzero nero 29.4 overall diameter. As well as a toyo 255/30zr24 overall around 30.1. I believe toyo has a wider one to come. The tires look scary small kind of rubberbandish. I'm a single guy so i might go ahead as planned and get them. I know this has been a hot topic lately, how far off load wise are they? I included links so you can see the profile of the tires. All I can say is wow. Plus sizing has gone insane.

The second link from eBay is pretty funny. Look at the wheel/tire down low behind the stack of the 24" tires which are offered here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB..._BID_Stores_IT The wheel looks like it came off of a kid's big wheel or something as it is dwarfed by the 24" ones, even though the overall outer diameter is only 29.4.

You might as well wrap a couple of welcome mats around those wheels because you'll probably have more rubber protection than the tires!

If you plan on getting this set up I would order an extra couple of tires and store em JIK of a flat. No one is going to stock these bad boys.

275/25 WR24 96XL - not exactly the same tire but will be a fair comparison:
1565 lbs. - Load Rating
51 psi - Max Inflation
10/32" - Tread Depth
29 lbs.- Tire Weight
9.5-10" - Rim Width Range
9.5" - Meas. Rim Width
10.8" - Section Width
29.4" - Overall Diam.

Don't go there guys......Just because you can doesn't mean you should.....

These tires are NOT safe for a Cayenne.
