I'm getting really, really close to purchasing a 2004 Cayenne Turbo. Here are my 2 current options. I just can't decide which is better. I prefer the white color, because this will be my daily driver. Though, the warranty on the black is attractive.

Both 1 owner
Both have Nav and similar options, nothing too dissimilar

White has 9000 miles and remainder of original factory warranty, $68k.


Black has 4000 miles and is certified pre-owned. $72k
The only thing I don't like is this vehicle has the aluminum exterior trim, I much prefer the blackout option. How much would this be aftermarket?

The blackout option is 2k, including parts and install. 72k is the asking price, I have not negotiated a deal just yet.

I need to part with my Lexus 400h (h if for hybrid). Not sure if I will trade or just sell it myself.

Go with black. The Cayenne looks amazing in black, plus its a CPO with less miles.

 

The CPO would sway me any day if you plan on keeping it for a bit, plus less miles as mentioned above. Also I love black so wouldn't even be an option for me. I'm always getting compliments on my car wherever I go. Almost a daily thing. Even many from other Cayenne owners, technicians, and service reps at the couple of dealers I frequent for service and mods. Some want to know "what special model is that Cayenne, I want to get that kind." No special model, just alot of tequipment add-ons. I do like the blackout, especially how AMG ETR's was put together, but I also like the contrasting trim. Any way you serve em' up, they are sweeeet!

 

Evan - did you ever look into black pipes. I have seen a sweet set, they are "black chrome" quad tips which would fit onto stock exhaust. That would "complete" the look and be a super, super dooper stealth!
