Due to a considerable sales decrease of Porsche’s off-roader Cayenne, the sports car maker has decided to switch the facelifted model’s launch to an earlier date, which is now the Geneva Motor Show in spring 2007.

In 2005-2006 Porsche sold only 34,000 new Cayennes, in particular sales went down in the United States dramatically, because also the American buyers meanwhile have to struggle with the high fuel costs in their country. Now Porsche hopes to successfully re-enter the market with the new facelifted Cayenne II. These two photos are showing a prototype of the restyled version without any disguise.

looks like a cross between robocop and transformers. hope thats final - that way i wont get the urge to trade in my ct.

 

I'm guessin it will look waaaay better with a few mods such as a new set of rims, front and rear fascias, a better hood (the hood on here is just plain), and slightly bulged fenders (if available)... Hope our friends at Gemballa, Sportech, Etc. don't let us down

 

they won't let us down.
but that's another 15-30k to make the car look okay.
not kewl. i am sure by the time the car hits production, it will def. not look like that.

 

I'm hoping too, for the sake of Porsche Sales and Porsche Enthusiasts around the world..

 

Rear is ok, front is fugly. But come on, the current Cayenne isn't the best looking SUV out there either.

This is another reason why all the Cayenne Turbo's are gone..haha
I see a lot of Turbo S's, no regular ones.. damn.. maybe i should buy one already... that EVOMS project is looking really good
