turbo s surging

i picked up a turbo s in dec. on acceleration there is surging. this was addressed pre delivery with new plugs, but to no avail. the pepper runs nicely at cruise, no check engine light, no fault codes at first oil change (1000 miles). have any of you had a similar experience? what was the solution?
thanks

Would you describe it as surging under slight acceleration or full throttle?
Also does it shake, or seem like it is in too low of a gear.

both. doesn't shake, doesn't seem as if it is in too low a gear.

Was thinking it could be the ignition coils but it would be running rough even at idle so not sure what to say.

I would think that the car is still performing as it learned to do so from it's previous owner, and that a simple reset by the tech should bring everything back to the state of waiting to be taught.
That said, I am unsure what else yu could mean by surging other than entering into the turbo boost stage.
Could you please elaborate?

the car is brand new. 3200 mi
when starting out, and throughout 2nd and 3rd gears, when accelerating it starts to go with intermittant modulation of acceleration. its as if the computer cannot make up its mind.

Test drove a CTTS and there was a lot of lag, like 2 seconds, and when the turbos kicked in there was a good amount of torque. Are they all like this??

Bring it to the dealer and have them put it on the computer. Could be computer, ignition system, or fuel sytem.

Same issue I changed the plugs regapped them and no more surging. All I can say is try the NGK 6418 iridiums and gap them tighter. Or you have a cracked coil. IMO

Best thing you can do is to bring it back to the dealer and have the assigned tech seat with you on a test drive and show him the issue that you're experiencing. Don't just drop off your Cayenne.
